Job Summary
Our Client is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to provide technical leadership and strategic advisory support for ServiceNow engagements. This role combines hands-on configuration and development across ServiceNow modules with client advisory, platform strategy, governance, process optimization, and pre-sales support. The Technical Architect will help clients maximize their ServiceNow investments by developing strategic roadmaps, optimizing platform capabilities, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. This is a remote position with occasional travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Must have Active Secret Clearance
• Lead client engagements to assess current ServiceNow capabilities and define future-state process and platform strategies.
• Develop ServiceNow platform roadmaps aligned with business goals and technical priorities.
• Conduct business value assessments and recommend adoption strategies across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, and CSM.
• Design and implement governance models, KPIs, and process improvement frameworks.
• Facilitate client workshops to gather requirements, align stakeholders, and drive consensus on solution design and implementation plans.
• Apply business process knowledge to map client needs to ServiceNow capabilities and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, Discovery, HRSD, and related capabilities.
• Perform health scans, technical debt analysis, and platform scalability assessments.
• Manage integrations with third-party tools such as Qualys, Tenable, SCCM, and JAMF.
• Ensure ServiceNow platform implementations conform to established best practices and licensing strategies.
• Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to develop proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) for ServiceNow engagements.
• Estimate effort, define scope, and align deliverables with client expectations and budget constraints.
• Support pricing strategies and resource planning for advisory and implementation phases.
Required Qualifications
• Deep technical expertise in the ServiceNow platform, including configuration and development across multiple ServiceNow modules.
• Experience providing technical architecture and strategic advisory support for ServiceNow engagements.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, governance, integrations, and process optimization.
• Experience assessing ServiceNow environments, including health scans, technical debt, and platform scalability.
• Experience developing technical proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Ability to assess requirements, define solution approaches, estimate effort, and align deliverables with client objectives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops and present technical recommendations to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including proposal development, pricing strategies, and resource planning.
• Experience across ServiceNow capabilities including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC, and CSM.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party platforms such as Qualys, Tenable, SCCM, and JAMF.
• Experience developing ServiceNow platform roadmaps and governance models.
