Job DescriptionServiceNow Business AnalystJob Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Systems Engineer with deep ServiceNow expertise to join our IT team. You will serve as the key bridge between business needs and technical solutions by designing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow applications and integrations to support critical IT and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain core ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Request Management, and Service Catalog.
- Design and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, scripts, and custom applications based on stakeholder requirements.
- Develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (Jira, Salesforce, Azure AD, Workday, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Translate business processes into scalable technical solutions and perform gap analysis to recommend improvements and automations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine technical and functional requirements.
- Monitor system performance, ensure optimal configuration, and maintain high uptime.
- Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and automation tools to streamline operations.
- Work closely with development teams to translate customer requirements into actionable solutions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related STEM field.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, etc.).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
- 7+ years of experience translating customer requirements into technical solutions for developers.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); additional certifications (Application Developer, ITSM, ITOM) strongly preferred.
- Experience with Agile and ITIL frameworks.
- Familiarity with business systems such as Jira, Salesforce, Workday, or Slack.
