Role 2: ServiceNow and CMDB Admin- ITAM (HAM/SAM)

• Expertise in implementation/support of integration with ServiceNow CMDB/Asset Management
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and security teams to improve HAM,SAM activities with

broader IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) initiatives.
• SAM Pro Specific Skills
• Configure and maintain the ServiceNow SAM Pro module, including software models,

discovery models, entitlements, and license metrics.
• Execute regular reconciliation processes comparing discovered software installations

with purchased licenses (entitlements) to determine the effective license position (ELP).
• Experience with scripting (JavaScript) and integrations (e.g., SCCM, Discovery)
• HAM Pro Specific Skills
• Develop and implement strategies and automate processes for hardware acquisition,

receipt, deployment, maintenance, and secure disposal, ensuring compliance with ITAD

(IT Asset Disposal) standards.
• Ensure HAM data integrity within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB),

leveraging ServiceNow Discovery and other integrations to populate CI data

automatically.
• Experience of developing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and other

systems using APIs, web services, and middleware
• Experience building integration with procurement systems - Coupa and Zip
• Experience on Integration technologies such as Web Services, SOAP, HTTP, MID Server.
