DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled
ServiceNow System Administrator to join our team supporting federal government clients. The ServiceNow System Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the ServiceNow platform. This role works closely with developers, business analysts, architects, and product owners to maintain platform stability, support business processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement configuration changes. The ideal candidate has hands-on ServiceNow administration experience and a strong understanding of platform security, ITSM processes, workflows, data management, and release support.
REQUIREMENTS- Platform Administration: Perform day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the ServiceNow platform.
- User & Access Management: Manage users, groups, roles, ACLs, and role-based access controls to maintain appropriate platform security.
- ITSM Administration: Configure and support core ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- Service Catalog: Configure and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, workflows, approvals, and related fulfillment processes.
- Flow Designer & Workflow: Build, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain workflows and Flow Designer flows to support business processes.
- Platform Configuration: Configure forms, fields, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, notifications, events, assignment rules, SLAs, and scheduled jobs.
- CMDB & CSDM: Support CMDB administration, CI classes, relationships, data quality, and alignment with CSDM standards.
- Data Management: Manage data imports, Import Sets, Transform Maps, scheduled data loads, and ongoing data maintenance.
- Deployment & Release Support: Support update sets and deployments across development, test/UAT, and production environments.
- Platform Maintenance: Assist with instance cloning, upgrades, patches, testing, and release management activities.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Monitor platform health, investigate system issues, troubleshoot configurations, and provide production support.
- Reporting: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics based on business and operational needs.
- Integrations: Support ServiceNow APIs, MID Servers, and integrations with external enterprise systems.
- Testing: Perform configuration testing, regression testing, and support automated testing using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Agile Delivery: Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
SKILLS & ABILITIES- ServiceNow Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
- Federal Experience: Experience supporting ServiceNow within a federal government environment preferred.
- Platform Administration: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow administration, configuration, user management, security, and access controls.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Flow Designer, workflows, and ServiceNow APIs.
- CMDB: Experience maintaining Configuration Items, CI relationships, CMDB data quality, and CSDM concepts.
- Data Management: Experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, data loads, and data maintenance.
- Deployment: Experience with update sets and promoting changes across ServiceNow environments.
- Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot platform and configuration issues.
- Communication: Ability to work effectively with developers, business analysts, technical teams, and federal stakeholders.
- ServiceNow Modules: ITSM, WSD, ITAM, ITOM, Employee Center Pro, SPM, IRM, SecOps.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
- ServiceNow CIS certification in an applicable domain preferred
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one
