DescriptionWe are seeking an innovative problem solver and analytical thinker to join our Fluke Service Engineering team. In the fast-paced world of a service engineer, daily work consists of participating and contributing on new product design teams, performing various tasks in support of product life cycle management, and providing engineering support for global Fluke service centers and authorized service partners.
Responsibilities Include:- Using technology tools to assist in developing test and service solutions such as CAD, 3D Printing, and various software tools.
- Working well in team or independent environments, and the ability to take on technical leadership roles as needed.
- Assist with concepts for potential projects that will significantly improve efficiency or expand calibration, adjustment and repair capabilities.
- Collaborate with Service Engineer Team Members and Management to ensure that Service Engineering initiatives and project deliverables are met.
- Assist with planning, development, and execution of the assembly, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of new and existing automation systems, test fixtures and other equipment.
- Develop and support automated and manual test procedures.
- Develop, publish and maintain service documentation for the global service community.
- Possess an understanding and commitment to the quality management system policies and procedures.
- FBS - Daily Management, Visual Management, Kaizen, PD, KPI, Advanced problem solving.
- Provide engineering support to service labs and authorized service partners globally.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
- Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
- Engineering degree in EE or ME, or 4+ years equivalent work experience.
- Programming experience in languages such as C++, C#, Java, Labview, Visual Basic, Python and METCAL preferred.
- Capability to evaluate and solve complex problems.
- Ability to multitask, contribute and collaborate in a team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
- Ability to design, build and validate test fixtures.
- Experience in test equipment calibration, adjustment and repair.
- Ability to develop and execute testing methodologies.
- Knowledgeable in metrology practices such as measurement uncertainties and accuracies.
- Some travel may be required.
Pay RangeThe salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,190.00 - 135,585.00
