Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boilers and related equipment (pumps, valves, controls) to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
- Diagnose/troubleshoot component, equipment, and system issues and make necessary repairs.
- Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Understand boiler control systems, including boiler plant control, zone controls, and snow melt controls
- Install, test, and commission boilers to ensure proper operation per manufacturer's specifications and recommendations.
- Assist in bidding and managing comprehensive boiler replacement projects including coordination with plumbers, electricians, and master system integrators.
- Understand code requirements
- Document service activities and complete detailed work orders and reports.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including lockout/tagout, PPE use, ladder safety, fall protection, and safe equipment operation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in clean and working order.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, caretakers, contractors, and office staff regarding job status, recommendations, and follow-up needs.
Required Qualifications:- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 5+ years of boiler service, maintenance, and installation
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Strong knowledge of heating hot water systems
Preferred Skills:- Knowledge of Tekmar controls
- Experience with fuel-oil boilers and fuel-oil to natural gas conversions

Pay: $45 - $55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
