Candidate will support enterprise cybersecurity operations by administering security platforms, analyzing vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation efforts, and improving overall security effectiveness across the organization. This role combines hands-on technical administration with risk analysis, compliance support, automation initiatives, and collaboration across multiple technology teams.
Required Qualifications for the Server Administrator:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in server administration, security administration, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, endpoint security, and enterprise security technologies.
- Experience administering and supporting tools such as Trellix, BigFix, Nessus, or similar security platforms.
- Knowledge of security compliance requirements, remediation processes, and risk management principles.
- Experience supporting endpoint encryption and device security initiatives.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required security clearance requirements and successfully complete a credit check.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Server Administrator:- Experience with Varonis, Eclypsium, or similar security solutions.
- Scripting and automation experience to improve operational efficiency.
- Background in security reporting, audit support, and compliance validation.
- Experience developing process improvements and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of enterprise-scale vulnerability scanning and remediation programs.
- Familiarity with modern cybersecurity frameworks and security best practices.
- Experience working in large, complex technology environments.
Responsibilities of the Server Administrator:- Monitor security platforms, vulnerability scans, and compliance dashboards to identify risks, validate findings, and prioritize remediation activities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, operations, and application teams to implement security updates, configuration changes, and corrective actions.
- Administer and maintain enterprise security technologies, ensuring appropriate coverage, functionality, and performance.
- Investigate compliance exceptions, security findings, and technical issues while driving resolution through completion.
- Support audit, governance, and compliance initiatives by collecting evidence, validating controls, and documenting remediation efforts.
- Develop automation, scripts, reporting enhancements, and process improvements that strengthen security operations and reduce organizational risk.
Work Location: Hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence required Tuesday through Thursday and remote work available Monday and Friday, along with additional onsite attendance as business needs dictate. In-person interviews are preferred.
