Position: Server Administrator (Manager / Sr. Manager)
Department: Cloud Infrastructure Team
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ
Work Type: Full-Time / On-Site (5 days per week)

Salary Range: $87,000 - $120,000 DOE

Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, qualifications, and market conditions.

The Server Administrator will be responsible for supporting and managing enterprise server infrastructure, storage environments, and related applications. This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and project coordination capabilities to support enterprise IT operations and infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing both operational support and infrastructure-related projects.

Job Description

  • Maintain and support enterprise server, storage, and application environments
  • Build, configure, and deploy servers for business units as needed
  • Coordinate infrastructure-related projects and align stakeholder requirements with HQ standards and processes
  • Support future IT infrastructure resource and team management initiatives
  • Perform day-to-day server administration and operational support
  • Monitor storage utilization and forecast future capacity requirements
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery testing processes and documentation
  • Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies to support enterprise operations
  • Monitor hardware/software lifecycle and prepare migration or upgrade plans
  • Present technical information and infrastructure updates to IT management
  • Rack, install, and configure servers as required
  • Participate in formal change management processes, including occasional after-hours or weekend support
  • Support domestic and international infrastructure-related projects when necessary


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in server infrastructure administration and support
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving methodology
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server environments
  • Understanding of server architecture and enterprise infrastructure
  • Knowledge of storage and SAN switch configuration (EMC, NetApp preferred)
  • Experience with Symantec NetBackup architecture
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware
  • Exposure to DevOps and monitoring tools including Nagios, Cacti, and Jira
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Experience supporting database and server environments
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Leadership capability to mentor or manage junior IT team members
  • Fluent Korean and English communication skills required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of network equipment and infrastructure
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with Active Directory and Windows infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with MS Office and enterprise productivity tools
