Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, workforce management, business strategy, program management, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or MBA in a quantitative, analytical, or business discipline.
  • Experience in Trust and Safety, content moderation, risk operations, or digital platform developer ecosystems.
  • Experience modeling the workforce, headcount, and OpEx impacts of automation, AI, or technological transformations.
  • Experience collaborating with Vendor Management on commercial levers, including location mix optimization, rate cards, and budget planning.
  • Demonstrated success designing dynamic capacity models, skill-based pooling, or workforce fungibility strategies across global vendor networks.

As a Senior Workforce Strategy and Capacity Planning Manager in Google Play Trust and Safety Operational Excellence, you will direct capacity planning and allocation strategy across our global human review operations. Partnering with Demand Governance, Vendor Management, Operations, and Analytics, you will serve as the chief strategist translating business priorities and technological shifts into actionable workforce supply models.

In this role, you will govern long-range plans and dynamic mid-range rebalancing cadences, identifying where operational buffers exist versus where workflows are constrained. You will guide decision-makers through trade-offs by architecting predictive scenario models evaluating risk, cost, and capacity impacts-including the workforce and operating expenses effects of AI and automation. Partnering with Vendor Managers, you will optimize our global footprint, location mix, and resource fungibility. Combining strong business acumen and quantitative modeling, you will equip senior leadership with the insights needed for high-stakes prioritization and investment decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Drive dynamic capacity rebalancing and partner with Vendor Managers to optimize global reviewer allocation, location mix, and workforce fungibility.
  • Leverage data analysis and predictive scenario modeling to serve as the chief capacity advisor, guiding executive prioritization and allocation strategies.
  • Analyze the capacity and operational expenditure (OpEx) effects of AI, automation, and policy launches to enable data-driven transitions between manual and automated workflows.
  • Monitor daily queue performance, intraday service levels, and schedule adherence, coordinating real-time staffing adjustments to ensure volumes meet service times.
  • Provide immediate impact analyses for unplanned events, initiate KPI escalations, and identify ongoing productivity and OpEx savings opportunities.
