Full Job Description
About the Role:

This role owns the post-production for Relativity Space and will assist on the production side as well. You'll be editing the videos that tell the story of Terran R and shape external and internal perception of the company. As a member of the Communications & Brand team, you'll work with the Manager of Media Production to turn footage into high-quality and compelling videos. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable editor that will help tell the story of Terran R. This role is geared towards someone who has experience across commercial, branded, documentary, social, and narrative focused content.
  • Edit world-class video content from rough cut to final delivery incorporating color correction, sound design, and motion graphics in the final exports
  • Manage large-scale media asset ingestion, organization, cataloging, and archiving with a focus on efficiency and scalability
  • Provide editorial guidance in pre-shoot meetings, on-site, and in post-production that aligns with the goals of the team
  • Translate creative briefs, brand strategies, and business needs into high-impact, creative videos
  • Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and build relationships and trust with stakeholders, peers and working groups
  • Assist our production team with operating cameras as needed during shoots

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Film or Media Production, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience as an editor within a collaborative environment with a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of projects and different editing styles
  • Pro-level fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and After Effects
  • Strong attention to detail and project organization with an ability to deliver quality work on-time in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to juggle multiple editing projects and deadlines in parallel
  • Availability to make frequent trips to our locations in Stennis, MS and Cape Canaveral, FL and work on a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends

Nice to haves but not required:
  • Experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, technology, or other engineering-led industries
  • Strong understanding of brand campaigns, art direction and social/digital media ecosystems
  • Experience with animation software including Cinema4D and Blender
