Senior Vice President - Studio Relations & Strategic Partnerships, North America

Location: Los Angeles, California; regular presence in the Los Angeles area required.
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Function: Studio Relations & Business Development

OVERVIEW

Qube Cinema is seeking a strategic and commercial Media & Entertainment Executive to serve as Senior Vice President - Studio Relations & Strategic Partnerships for North America. This leadership role will be responsible for driving Qube's commercial growth in US Market, with a primary focus on building and scaling the business with key studios for Qube Wire.

The role will lead strategic customer development across Hollywood studios, independent studios, distributors, content owners and other key players in the entertainment ecosystem. The successful candidate will build senior relationships, identify and develop new business opportunities, lead complex commercial engagements and establish Qube Wire as a trusted technology and theatrical distribution partner.

In addition, the SVP will identify opportunities to introduce and grow Qube's broader portfolio of products and services, creating deeper and more strategic relationships with customers.

This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and will play a significant role in shaping Qube's US growth strategy and market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead the commercial strategy for Qube Wire, with a particular focus on developing and scaling relationships with major studios, mini-majors, independent studios, distributors and content owners.
  • Build and maintain senior executive relationships across studio distribution, theatrical operations, technology, content operations, post-production and digital supply chain functions.
  • Identify, develop and close high-value, strategic and recurring revenue opportunities, taking ownership of the sales cycle from market development through negotiation and closure.
  • Position Qube Wire as a strategic partner to studios and content owners, moving beyond transactional service relationships to long-term, multi-faceted partnerships.
  • Develop strategic account plans for key customers, identifying opportunities for new business, account expansion, cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for other Qube products and services, leveraging Qube's relationships and capabilities across the broader Media & Entertainment ecosystem.
  • Build Qube's presence and customer network across the entertainment market and identify new markets, partnerships and commercial models that can accelerate growth.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, develop compelling value propositions and work closely with internal teams to structure solutions that meet customer and business objectives.
  • Own sales performance, including revenue growth, pipeline development, forecasting, conversion and strategic account growth.
  • Provide senior leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights and customer feedback to inform Qube's business, product and market strategy.
  • Partner closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Marketing and other Qube business leaders to convert market opportunities into scalable business.
  • Represent Qube at senior industry forums, studio meetings, conferences and other key Media & Entertainment platforms.

ROLE REQUIREMENT
  • 15+ years of progressive sales, business development or commercial leadership experience within the Media & Entertainment, technology, content distribution or related industries.
  • Proven track record of building new businesses, markets or strategic accounts in the North America.
  • Deep, established relationships with Hollywood studios, distributors, content owners, exhibitors and/or other major Media & Entertainment organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in selling technology, platforms, services or solutions to large and complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-suite and senior studio, business and technology executives.
  • Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively across a global organization and collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations and Business leadership.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience required; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

COMPENSATION

Hiring Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, plus annual performance-based incentive and applicable benefits.

Qube recognizes that candidates may bring different levels of leadership scope, industry experience and commercial responsibility. For a candidate whose experience and demonstrated track record warrant a broader mandate, Qube may calibrate the title, scope of responsibility and overall compensation package accordingly.
