Overview

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Senior Vice President, Strategy to oversee all Media Planning and Strategy and E2E Integration for a high-profile Power of One team. This person will lead a team in the development, execution, and stewardship of integrated media plans for the client's business. This SVP will leverage their experience, perspective, and leadership skills to bring fresh thinking while thoughtfully balancing client priorities, agency objectives, and team needs.

The SVP, Strategy will also serve as a visionary leader and trusted advisor, driving integrated strategic excellence across the portfolio of wellness brands. This role is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction across brand, communications, digital, media, and performance strategy, ensuring a seamless, consumer-first approach to champion growth, breakthrough thinking, and cross-collaboration that span across different wellness categories.

Responsibilities

Role Objectives:

Provide integrated strategic leadership across a multi-agency team spanning brand, communications, digital, media, and performance strategy.
  • Set the strategic direction for assigned Wellness brands, ensuring plans advance the client's business and connect to long-range growth priorities
  • Translate consumer truths, cultural context, and business needs into compelling strategic narratives and actionable frameworks
  • Create consumer-first, connected strategies that move from brand awareness to shoppable engagement moments across channels
  • Partner with Data & Analytics on audience segmentation, journey mapping, channel strategy, and measurement frameworks
  • Drive innovation in strategy and planning through new tools and methodologies, including AI, experience planning, and personalization
  • Lead cross-functional planning and campaign development to ensure strong integration, resource efficiency, and effective execution
  • Serve as the senior strategic lead for the Wellness portfolio, ensuring connectivity across internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders
  • Oversee Wellness Pod operations, including staffing recommendations, day-to-day supervision, budgeting, cost management, and resourcing needs


Builds Trust as a Client Advisor to drive Growth
  • Act as an advisor on Industry shifts for the client, helping to solve business challenges through strategic thinking
  • Deliver business growth through strategic innovation, thought leadership, and white-space opportunities


Collaborates across Capabilities to drive Breakthrough
  • Bridge strategy with creative, media, digital, social, and analytics teams to ensure alignment from insight to execution
  • Champion the integration of research, cultural insights, and behavioral data into all aspects of planning
  • Collaborate with creative leadership to ensure insights fuel breakthrough ideas that work across platforms
  • Partner with media/data leads to connect brand storytelling with performance outcomes


Team Leadership & Development to upskill talent
  • Build and lead a multi-disciplinary strategy team (brand, comms, media, digital, CX, data strategy).
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture rooted in curiosity, clarity, and commercial impact.
  • Champion professional growth, training, and mentorship within the strategy department.


Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 12+ years in strategy, with deep experience across brand, digital, and media
  • Proven ability to lead integrated strategies across large, complex clients
  • Excellent collaborative leadership ability to drive team to deliver results

Compensation Range: USD $180,215.00 - USD $299,637.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
