We are seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, to join our Global Communications team. The role is based in New York.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Developing and executing an integrated communications strategy that sharpens BNY's commercial narrative and industry perspective
  • Elevating senior executives through distinctive positioning and high-impact platforms, including earned media, speaking engagements, thought leadership, internal communications and digital content
  • Serving as a trusted communications counselor to senior leaders, providing executive preparation, messaging development and outcomes-driven impact


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in communications, with a strong track record of success
  • Proven ability to develop communications strategies, messaging, communications materials
  • Strong executive presence and experience counseling senior leaders and managing issues
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in managing organizational changes and transformational programs
  • Creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation and excellence in communications strategy development and execution
  • Experience in working with AI tools to strengthen communications quality, efficiency and impact
  • Outstanding judgement, proactive problem-solving ability, and true accountability and ownership in scope of work

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
