Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Risk Management, or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience with upper middle market and middle market property accounts
• 1+ year experience as an underwriter at a non-admitted carrier
• Knowledge of CAT Modeling parameters and risk assessment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Active listening and interpersonal skills to build broker relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop a profitable book of property insurance under the Regional Property Manager's guidance
• Create collaborative business plans with the Distribution division for targeted production
• Build and maintain relationships with approved wholesale brokers
• Underwrite and manage a profitable book in the non-admitted property market
• Identify business opportunities that differentiate the company
• Analyze submissions and negotiate property insurance products
• Monitor portfolio metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
