This role offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of sonographic examinations across OB/GYN, abdominal, and small-parts specialties. You'll work closely with radiologists, providing essential support during invasive procedures and contributing to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of sonographic examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small-parts imaging.
- Assist radiologists during invasive procedures, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient comfort.
- Conduct abdominal Doppler studies, including evaluations of the liver and liver transplant patients.
- Perform Nuchal Translucency studies and neonatal cranial exams.
- Maintain eligibility for Senior Sonographer status by holding at least one additional certification in Breast, Vascular, Neurosonography, MSK, Pediatrics, Fetal Echo, Nuchal Translucency, or Neonatal specialties.
- Exercise sound clinical judgment by assessing patient conditions using information from referring providers, medical records, patient interviews, and personal evaluation.
Required Qualifications:- Coursework/Training and Successful completion of Ultrasound training program --- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination
- Upon hire:
- National Registered Technologist - Sonography --or--
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 2 years of experience as a sonographer

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
