Senior Transportation Program Manager to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a
Senior Transportation Program Manager, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client's ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located within the
Chicagoland area and could have potential to be hybrid depending on the specific client, project and team needs.
Key Responsibilities- Serving as one of the senior leaders managing project managers, associate project managers and field inspectors for process direction and interaction with owners, contractors and other stakeholders to progress the sector's project portfolio
- Managing client expectations related to AR staff and subconsultants, as well as other contractual concerns
- Representing Ardmore Roderick on multi-firm programs while accomplishing specific program duties.
- Overseeing daily roadway rehab construction activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications, timeline and budget on multiple roadway construction projects
- Provide leadership in ensuring the team policies and practices for overall project management regarding daily tasks and documentation processes are adhered to and evaluated over time to ensure smooth project execution, budget compliance and meeting timeline projections
- Be a key individual in identifying, mentoring, growing and retaining team members into future leaders and managers
- As part of a team, participate and provide leadership vision in new business identification and capture for overall pipeline growth of the team
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management
- Professional Engineer in Illinois
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in roles related to construction and rehabilitation of roadway centric projects
- 10+ years leading projects and teams in a licensed Resident Engineer role
- 15+ years of experience working on IDOT, Illinois Tollway and other large transportation entities projects/programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
- Have good to great organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications- Advanced degree(s)
- CM certification
- PE licensure in multiple states
- PMP certification
- Experience managing projects for the Chicago Department of Transportation, Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois Tollway and county highway departments

Salary Range: $204,984-226,720, Ardmore Roderick is providing the compensation range that the company believes it might pay and/or offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
