Role descriptionJob DescriptionLocation: Texas [ Austin / Southlake / Westlake / Dallas ]Job Summary - Automation Lead resource having good hands-on experience on Ruby/Selenium coding experience. Should be able to guide the Onshore and Offshore teams on both ATDD Processes and Technical implementation along with Design/enhance the automation framework. Experience in leading team from onshore (USA) and demonstrated experience in handling customers in customer F2F role. The project is for a US based capital markets client and the team is working on building high-end technology solutions and development practice of ATDD along with the latest on Test Automation.
Years of experience needed - Candidate experience - 5 to 8 years
Technical Skills: - Experience with QA for distributed highly scalable systems.
- Experience in the modern agile practices such as BDD/Cucumber
- Good understanding of OOPS concepts and strong programming skills in WebDriverIO and TypeScript
- Must have ATDD implementation experience for web applications with technical knowledge in;
- Selenium/TypeScript programing language or Webdriver IO framework (not Ruby on rails)
- Gherkins and any automation parser like Cucumber/Behave etc.
- Hands on experience of working with at least one of GUI based test automation tools for desktop and/or mobile automation using Ruby/Selenium/WebDriverIO. Experience on other tools will be added advantage.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with process of test automation tool selection & test approach
- Experience in designing and development of automation framework and creation of scripts using best industry practices such as Page object model.
- Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses.
- Familiar with implementation of design patterns, modularization, and user libraries for framework creation
- Must have Manual testing experience and software testing concepts knowledge like design techniques, estimation etc.
- Good to have Banking and Financial domain knowledge.
- Good to have Experience with web service / API test automation using tools like SoapUI, RestAssured
- Preferably To setup test environment for execution on cloud environments such as Selenium, SauceLabs, browser stack
- Preferably Working experience on unit testing tools, CI and Build tools such as TFS/JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, Maven
- Preferably Knowledge of new tools (open source & licensed) in the automation world and have the knack to explore them and keep abreast with the latest tools in the market.
- Good to have Expertise in creating test automation frameworks, implementing, and maintaining them on a project Experience in the modern agile practices such as BDD/ Cucumber, DevOps.
Certifications Needed: - Education qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
- Good to have any cloud certification - PCF / AWS / GCP / Azure
