Job TitleSenior Specialist, Test EngineerAs a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing automated test systems used for manufacturing, engineering development, and product certification of safety-critical avionics products. You will lead test system projects from concept through deployment, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities- Develop requirements, architectures, and designs for automated test stations.
- Design, develop, document, and maintain test software solutions.
- Lead test system development projects with minimal supervision.
- Conduct peer reviews of software and requirements documentation.
- Execute software verification and validation activities.
- Perform systems-level integration and testing of automated test stations.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product reliability and test efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace and company standards.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of related experience programming in C.
- 4+ years of experience in product testing, automated test systems, or related engineering functions.
- Experience working with digital electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of:
- NI TestStand
- LabWindows/CVI
- IEEE-488 (GPIB) controllers and drivers
- Environmental test equipment and temperature chambers
- Experience with avionics communication protocols, including:
- ARINC 429
- ARINC 717
- MIL-STD-1553
- I2C
- RS-232
- RS-422
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with L-band high-power pulsed transmitters and receivers.
- Experience with RF test equipment and automated RF test systems.
- Demonstrated expertise debugging and optimizing complex C software applications.
- Aerospace, avionics, or safety-critical systems experience.

- Ability to mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
