Role Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled E2E Test Engineer with strong experience in telecom domain testing and modern test automation using Playwright. The role focuses on validating complex end-to-end workflows across telecom systems, ensuring high-quality releases, and driving automation-first testing practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute end-to-end test scenarios covering telecom OSS/BSS workflows (order management, provisioning, billing, activation, etc.).
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Collaborate with product, development, and architecture teams to understand system flows and define test coverage.
- Validate integrations across APIs, UI, middleware, and downstream systems in complex telecom ecosystems.
- Drive shift-left testing by embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work closely with engineering teams for defect resolution.
- Enhance existing automation frameworks for reliability, reusability, and execution efficiency.
- Support regression, smoke, and release validation cycles for large-scale telecom applications.
- Ensure test coverage across multi-system workflows, including microservices-based architectures.
Required Skills:- 6+ years of experience in software testing with strong focus on E2E testing.
- Hands-on experience in telecom domain (OSS/BSS, order-to-activate, billing, provisioning flows).
- Strong expertise in test automation using Playwright (Java/TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Experience with API testing (REST/GraphQL) and tools like Postman or similar.
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills across multi-system environments.
- Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, Octane, or similar.
