Systemtec is seeking a
Senior Technology Analyst - Citrix for a hybrid opportunity in Columbia, SC. The Candidate will support and enhance enterprise virtual desktop and secure remote access environments across both cloud and on-premises platforms. This role will focus on infrastructure stability, modernization initiatives, performance optimization, and secure end-user platform delivery within a large enterprise environment.
Required Qualifications for the Senior Technology Analyst - Citrix:- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure technologies and end-user platforms
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments
- Strong experience with Citrix technologies including XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler/ADC, and StoreFront
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments and Active Directory integrations
- Knowledge of secure remote access technologies including VPN and Zero Trust platforms
- Experience with performance tuning, high availability configurations, patching, and security hardening
- Understanding of networking and security concepts including firewalls, TLS, certificates, and access controls
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in enterprise production environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Technology Analyst - Citrix:- Experience modernizing Citrix infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of Citrix LTSR upgrades and StoreFront optimization
- Familiarity with Zscaler or comparable secure access technologies
- Experience supporting VDI and Windows endpoint integrations
- Ability to create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and executive-level presentations
- Experience participating in infrastructure consolidation or modernization initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across infrastructure, networking, and security teams
Responsibilities of the Senior Technology Analyst - Citrix:- Support and maintain enterprise virtual application and desktop delivery environments across cloud and on-premises platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues involving Citrix, remote access, VDI, and endpoint technologies
- Implement and support secure remote connectivity solutions aligned with modern security standards
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and security teams to ensure platform reliability and compliance
- Perform system optimization, capacity planning, patch management, and security-related maintenance activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational standards, and architecture-related materials
Work Location: Hybrid work arrangement with onsite support required Tuesday through Thursday in Columbia, SC and additional onsite presence as needed. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
