OpenText is seeking a technically dynamic and resourceful Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our Information Archive and Documentum support team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about solving complex technical issues, delivering exceptional customer service, and working in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
YOU ARE GREAT AT
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical inquiries related to Information Archive.
  • Provide support via phone and email with a strong focus on customer empathy and satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and offer alternative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including updates and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve software defects and implement customer suggestions.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base by creating and editing technical articles.
  • Make informed decisions within defined parameters to support project deliverables.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Information Archive or Documentum.
  • University/College degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Information Archive.
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Content Management fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience with:
    - Windows OS (UNIX/Linux/OS X is a plus)
    - RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred; MS SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2 a plus)
    - Web application servers (Apache Tomcat required; WebSphere, IIS, JBoss, WebLogic a plus)
    - Cloud deployment (Kubernetes)
    - Security protocols (TLS, SSL, Kerberos, AD, LDAP)
    - Networking protocols (TCP/IP, NFS, DNS) and devices (load balancers)
  • Development experience in Java, SQL, CGI, Perl, .NET, or C++ is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and customers in a dynamic environment.

Salary Range: $72,160 - $108, 240: Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
