Job Summary:
The Technical Specialist (Prime brokerage background in equities is a must) will be responsible for utilizing expertise in Java, Python, Linux, and C++ to develop and implement technical solutions. The primary focus will be on designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software solutions using Java, Python, Linux, and C++
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design appropriate technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the software development lifecycle
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java, Python, Linux, and C++
- Document technical specifications and user guides for developed applications
Skill Requirements:
- Must have a prime brokerage background in equities. Proficiency in the Python programming language
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, and C++ programming languages
- Experience with software development methodologies and best practices
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Other Requirements: Relevant certifications in Java, Python, Linux, and C++ would be a plus
