Job DescriptionWe are seeking a
Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in Canada. This role will lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions across our business, with a focus on Energy & Natural Resources roles, supporting major projects and programs, with additional exposure to Infrastructure and Real Estate portfolios. You'll work closely with hiring managers, leaders, and the broader recruitment team to deliver an engaging candidate experience, provide strategic guidance, and help drive impactful hiring outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical and project-focused roles, primarily within Energy & Natural Resources, with additional exposure to Infrastructure and Real Estate portfolios.
- Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers by providing market insights, shaping recruitment strategies, and advising on workforce needs for major programs and hiring campaigns.
- Conduct intake meetings to define requirements, hiring timelines, success profiles, and selection criteria for complex or specialized roles.
- Source, attract, and engage top talent through proactive outreach, market mapping, competitor research, and relationship-building within key talent communities.
- Drive an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, effective assessment, and transparent process management.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, high-priority, and niche roles across E&NR and related sector.
- Collaborate with the broader TA team to support recruitment initiatives, process improvements, and diversity-focused sourcing efforts.
- Provide coaching and support to junior team members as needed, contributing to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team environment.
Qualifications- 5-6+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within technical, engineering, construction or energy/natural resources environments (corporate or agency).
- Proven ability to recruit for technical and project-based roles and engage passive candidates through proactive sourcing and market mapping.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide strategic guidance, influence decisions, and manage expectations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Talent Insights.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, while maintaining a high standard of candidate experience and professionalism.
- A bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field is considered an asset.

Additional InformationThe base salary range for this full-time role is $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
