Full Job Description
Position Summary:

Reporting to the Team Lead, Talent Acquisition, the Senior Technical Recruiter will play a key role in driving Trulioo's engineering and technical hiring efforts across the organization. You'll identify, engage, and hire exceptional technical talent who align with our values and business goals. Working closely with engineering managers and the broader People team, you'll deliver a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

This is a full-time, fixed-term (9-month) contract position that can be done remotely for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Own full-cycle technical recruitment for engineering and technology roles across varying levels of seniority, from sourcing through to offer.
  • Partner with engineering and technical hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, define ideal candidate profiles, and craft compelling, accurate job postings.
  • Source and engage qualified technical candidates through creative and targeted channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, niche job boards, and professional networks.
  • Conduct initial technical screenings and structured interviews to assess candidate fit, skills, and culture alignment, while maintaining a strong and active talent pipeline.
  • Track, update, and report on hiring metrics and pipeline activity to keep engineering managers and the TA team informed and aligned.
  • Manage and optimize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate data integrity and efficient recruitment workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to evaluate and implement new tools and strategies - including automation and AI-powered solutions - to continuously improve process effectiveness.
  • Represent Trulioo at tech-focused career fairs, meetups, and recruitment events, championing our engineering culture and opportunities to prospective candidates.

What You Bring:
  • 5-8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, ideally within an in-house, tech-focused, or high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring software engineers, developers, product managers, machine learning engineers, or other technical roles across various levels.
  • Deep understanding of full-cycle technical recruitment processes, including the ability to assess and screen for technical competencies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical hiring managers and candidates.
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms relevant to technical talent.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and comfort using data and hiring metrics for tracking, reporting, and decision-making. Experience with Ashby is an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical requisitions simultaneously.
  • A flexible, proactive, and collaborative mindset, with genuine curiosity about technology and a desire to grow within the technical recruiting space.
