Senior Technical Recruiter, Maneuver Dominance
ABOUT THE TEAM

As a key member of Anduril's recruiting team, you will own hiring requirements end-to-end: sourcing, screening, managing candidates through interviews, closing offers, and reporting performance to stakeholders. You'll have the autonomy and tooling to execute against our strategy of building a world-class team. We're looking for a high-ownership operator who treats recruiting as a data-driven discipline - someone who builds pipeline, measures what's working, and translates the numbers into clear recommendations for the business. This position supports technical and functional roles across hardware, software, and division operations.

This role is onsite in Seattle, WA or Costa Mesa, CA. This is a full-time position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Source and manage a high volume of technical candidates, maintaining tight feedback loops with hiring managers and business stakeholders.
  • Build deep partnerships with engineering leaders - calibrate profiles, shape talent strategy, and execute against hiring plans.
  • Own pipeline analytics: track funnel conversion, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, interview-to-offer ratios, and offer-acceptance rates. Surface insights weekly to hiring managers and recruiting leadership.
  • Translate data into action - diagnose bottlenecks, recommend interventions, and report results to stakeholders in a format they can act on.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the mission and the technology so you can pitch the opportunity credibly and close exceptional defense-tech talent.
  • Build long-range recruiting strategies grounded in pipeline data, including referral programs, sourcing channel optimization, and process automation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in sourcing techniques and tools - Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, SOBO campaigns, web scraping, data extraction, and candidate management workflows.
  • Conduct screens and interviews with a high signal-to-noise ratio, demonstrated by strong interview-to-offer conversion.
  • Drive diverse talent into the organization and deliver a positive candidate experience through proactive, transparent communication.
CORE REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years sourcing and closing technical roles in defense technology, with direct experience recruiting robotics talent (mechanical design, structures/composites, propulsion, thermal systems, electrical, controls, autonomy, or embedded software).
  • Demonstrated ability to use pipeline and performance data to drive decisions - funnel analysis, conversion benchmarking, source ROI - and to report those insights to hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Multiple years managing hiring-manager relationships: profile calibration, weekly pipeline reviews, and data-backed recommendations on strategy and prioritization.
  • Strong working understanding of the technical skills required for hardware and software engineering roles in a robotics or aerospace context.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent funnels and keeping candidates moving through the process without drop-off.
  • Working proficiency with Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter; comfort building reports and dashboards from ATS and sourcing-tool data.
  • Clear, structured communication with candidates - understanding motivations, drivers, and fit.
  • Track record of acting as a consultative partner whose guidance has measurably improved hiring outcomes.
  • Ability to work autonomously while staying highly collaborative across a small, fast-moving team.
  • No task is beneath you - team player with a bias to action who does whatever it takes to deliver for teammates and stakeholders.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience recruiting for vertical-lift drones, rotorcraft, VTOL, or eVTOL programs.
  • Experience recruiting at both a recruiting agency and a fast-paced startup.
  • Experience recruiting across a mix of hardware engineering, software engineering, and program management roles.
  • Familiarity with DoD hiring constraints (ITAR, clearance pipelines, US-person requirements).
