Overview

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving Agile transformation and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital products. You will work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and engineering to ensure seamless execution of Agile programs and continuous improvement in product delivery.

Your Impact
  • Lead Agile program management efforts, ensuring alignment with business goals and product strategy.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to drive team collaboration and efficiency.
  • Work closely with product owners and engineering teams to define and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Implement Agile best practices and frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, to optimize delivery processes.
  • Track and report key Agile metrics, such as velocity, cycle time, and team performance, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive Agile adoption and maturity across the organization.
  • Coach and mentor Agile teams to enhance their Agile mindset and execution capabilities.
  • Ensure cross-team coordination and alignment to deliver high-quality, customer-centric digital products.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within Agile teams.

Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile program management, product management, or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe and project delivery methodologies including waterfall and hybrid-agile
  • Experience in resource and budget planning across multiple projects with creating low to medium complexity roadmap of enhancements for custom built applications.
  • Experience in using Azure DevOps Boards as a Product Manager and Scrum Master
  • Proven experience leading Agile teams and driving Agile transformations in large-scale organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and to produce and review project deliverables like Project Charter, change records etc.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Experience in managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and feature prioritization.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize Agile delivery processes using data-driven insights.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to address challenges in Agile execution.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or PMI-ACP are a plus.


Accountabilities include:

Initiate:
  • Confirm project scope with Customer,
  • ensuring all required information for the project has been received.

Planning:
  • Establish project scope, schedule, resource and communication requirements.
  • Determine required stakeholders
  • Develops risk management plans.

Executing:
  • Direct and manage work activities required for the project.
  • Ensure all aspects of quality are achieved for project deliverables.
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders for input, decisions, and updates.
  • Manage project priorities and delivery process checkpoint gates.
  • Identify and resolve project issues.
  • Manage projects in accordance with legislation, regulations and rules

Monitoring and Controlling:
  • Validate project progress and quality.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date information about project status, schedule, accountabilities, and outcomes.
  • Validate and control project scope and changes, including schedule changes.
  • Monitor project resourcing commitments; identify and work to resolve resource conflicts.
  • Control of project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, maintaining and monitoring an up-to-date risk register, including project interdependencies
  • Report on project progress, risks and other updates to the Program Manager/Director

Set Yourself Apart With
  • Experience in digital product management and Agile delivery in a consulting environment.
  • Experience in a regulated industry, preferably utilities and specifically electricity transmission development, would be considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of customer experience, design thinking, and Lean product development.
  • Ability to drive business value through Agile execution and product innovation.
  • Experience in leading Agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional information

Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
