Full Job Description
The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and governing projects that strengthen the organization's security posture, including security tool implementations, risk remediation programs, and compliance-driven initiatives. This role drives the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives across technology, security, and business teams.
The Senior Technical Project Manager partners closely with security engineers, architects, GRC, and Technology stakeholders to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end execution of cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery and closure.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans including scope, timelines, milestones, and resources.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to objectives.
• Drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint for tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate across technical and non-technical teams Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Skills and/or Certifications Needed:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or Business Management with comparable technical experience.
• Minimum 8 years managing end-to-end project delivery across multiple initiatives.
• Ability to manage complex timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Program-level coordination across interconnected projects.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to deliver executive-level reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive accountability across teams.
