We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead delivery efforts on our Federal Reserve Board of Governors program. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for managing technical execution, customer relationships, financial performance, staffing strategy, and operational excellence across a critical federal program. This is a remote Position with occasional onsite travel. The qualified candidate must reside in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area

What You'll Lead

 

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will serve as a trusted leader responsible for the successful execution of major programs and projects, ensuring exceptional performance across technical, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring high-performing technical and project management teams
  • Managing program execution, staffing, financial performance, risk mitigation, and customer engagement
  • Driving contract performance while ensuring delivery excellence and continuous improvement
  • Building strong relationships with government stakeholders, teaming partners, and vendors
  • Overseeing program budgets, forecasting, reporting, and contract compliance activities
  • Developing staffing strategies and ensuring the right talent is in place to meet mission requirements
  • Supporting business growth initiatives, proposal development, and strategic planning efforts
  • Establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes that drive operational success
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience
  • At least 10 years in program or project management leadership roles
  • 5+ years leading projects and programs within the Financial Services industry
  • Experience managing multiple contract types and complex delivery environments
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and fostering strong customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of program financial management, staffing, and operational performance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
  • Working knowledge of customer processes, programs, and policies
  • PMP Certification
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Public Trust
  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Active Public Trust Clearance
  • Experience supporting organizations such as the U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve Bank, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), World Bank, or similar financial institutions

 

Target Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
