Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Scope & Complexity: You are managing multiple projects within MSC as a Program. You implement activities that are scoped to the important components and processes of more than one team. You work on projects that are important, complex and have cross-team dependencies.
  • Impact: You make an impact at a functional level and deliver features with complexity that can touch several areas. You are considered proficient in at least one technical area. You help drive clarity and define problems proactively. You implement processes that generally impact a set of teams within the same area. You are collaborating with the key leaders in the teams that directly interact with your immediate team, and you are familiar with their functional areas.
  • Decision Making: When you encounter problems, you are able to drive their resolution often, and when you cannot, you know who and how best to engage. When confronted with discordant views, you foster constructive dialogue and seek resolutions in a professional manner.
  • Problem Definition & Complexity: You work on clearly- defined business problems without predefined technical solutions. When you encounter problems, you can drive their resolution often, and when you cannot, you know who and how best to engage. You can modify a project plan quickly when requirements change, or problems occur during execution.

  • Skills & Knowledge: You are familiar with Media, Content Systems, and Media Supply Chain systems and technologies.


What to Bring:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, comfortable and experienced in leading project teams/scrum teams in an agile environment for developing media asset management or content management software.
  • Experience with Media Supply Chains and/or Content Systems.
  • Experience driving technical feature planning and delivery on software features in partnership with software development teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with technology resources on projects given a solid understanding of current technologies and trends.
  • Understanding of media asset management, media supply chains, content and asset registries, media file formats, and video transcoding.
  • Estimating, scheduling, coordinating, assigning resources, and assisting and recommending business solutions/alternatives for software projects.
  • Experience using data visualization frameworks (Tableau, PowerBI) to drive metrics and business decisions
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for technical documentation.
  • Ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve business goals, including the use of data to drive improvements.
  • Experience using and customizing JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet
  • Nice to have: AWS, Java Spring Boot, Python, NodeJS, SQL
