About the Role

Platforms & Services is the foundation Twitch is built on. Our teams own the internal developer platforms, enterprise systems, security infrastructure, and data capabilities that power every product and experience on Twitch. As a Senior Technical Program Manager in this org, you'll own programs that span this full spectrum: from modernizing internal tooling to shipping customer-facing products that directly impact millions of users.

This role operates at the intersection of deep technical work and broad organizational influence. You'll partner with engineering, product, and business teams across Twitch to turn platform investments into real outcomes, navigating competing priorities, making trade-off calls in ambiguous environments, and driving delivery across teams that don't report to you. If you thrive on complex cross-functional problems where no one hands you a playbook, this is the role.
You Will:
  • Own and deliver large, cross-functional programs spanning platform modernization, developer tooling, and enterprise systems, managing the full lifecycle from concept through launch, coordinating across multiple engineering teams, and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Engage deeply with technical architecture and drive trade-off decisions, identifying dependencies, evaluating engineering approaches, and influencing priorities to ensure platforms evolve to meet the needs of both internal teams and external customers.
  • Drive alignment across organizations operating at different speeds and priorities, navigating ambiguity, building operating models and stakeholder structures that bring clarity, and ensuring teams across engineering, product, and business functions execute together toward shared goals.
You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) or a related technical leadership role
  • Deployed user-facing technologies at a high-quality bar, with demonstrated track record of meeting user needs and resolving business tradeoffs
  • Knowledge of engineering architecture and ability to identify dependencies and technical risks
  • Experience managing stakeholders, and cross-organizational dependencies
  • Ability to facilitate and align roadmaps, and manage disparate tasks with varying priorities
  • Experience defining cross-organizational/company-wide strategy including driving alignment across engineering leadership
  • Experience mentoring and developing fellow team members
Bonus Points
  • Experience or familiarity with the AWS ecosystem of services and streaming, real-time analytics, or online entertainment
  • Experience with AI/ML systems, agentic architectures, or applied machine learning programs
  • BA/BS in a technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Perks
  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Maternity & Parental Leave
  • Flexible PTO
  • Amazon Employee Discount

About Twitch

Twitch is an American video live streaming service that focuses on video game live streaming, including broadcasts of esports competitions, in addition to offering music broadcasts, creative content, and "in real life" streams. It is operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. It was introduced in June 2011 as a spin-off of the general-interest streaming platform Justin.tv. Content on the site can be viewed either live or via video on demand. The popularity of Twitch eclipsed that of its general-interest counterpart. In October 2013, the website had 45 million unique viewers, and by February 2014, it was considered the fourth-largest source of peak Internet traffic in the United States. At the same time, Justin.tv's parent company was re-branded as Twitch Interactive to represent the shift in focus – Justin.tv was shut down in August 2014. That month, the service was acquired by Amazon for US$970 million, which later led to the introduction of synergies with the company's subscription service Amazon Prime. Twitch acquired Curse in 2016, an operator of online video gaming communities and introduced means to purchase games through links on streams along with a program allowing streamers to receive commissions on the sales of games that they play.
