As a senior leader within IT, the TPM will orchestrate multi-year, multi-workstream programs that span applications, data, infrastructure, security, and business process transformation. The ideal candidate thrives in complex environments, understands enterprise architecture deeply, and can balance technical execution with organizational change management.

This role requires executive presence, strong governance discipline, and the ability to translate transformation strategy into measurable business outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute significantly to defining program elements, objectives, sequencing, and success metrics
  • Develop and manage integrated program roadmaps across applications, infrastructure, data, security, and business operations
  • Establish program governance structures, including steering committees, executive reporting, risk registers, and dependency management frameworks
  • Drive alignment across CIO leadership, enterprise architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, data, and business stakeholders
  • Coordinate legacy system decommissioning, technical debt reduction, and platform rationalization efforts
  • Manage financial forecasting, capital planning, vendor engagements, and resource capacity planning
  • Ensure architectural compliance and alignment with enterprise standards and target-state technology strategy
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, including operational, regulatory, data privacy, and business continuity risks
  • Lead change management efforts in partnership with business units to drive adoption and operational readiness
  • Track and report transformation KPIs including cost savings, performance improvements, resiliency gains, and user adoption
  • Leverage AI to enhance and streamline project management processes and workflows
  • Improve enterprise delivery maturity through standardized tooling, portfolio visibility, and execution best practices
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on transformation sequencing, tradeoffs, and investment priorities

What you'll bring to Zelis:
  • 8-12+ years of experience leading complex IT programs within large, matrixed enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale transformations (cloud adoption, ERP implementations, M&A system integrations, data platform modernization, infrastructure transformation)
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles (application, data, infrastructure, security domains)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models
  • Deep understanding of modernization patterns (API enablement, microservices, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization)
  • Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets and external vendors/system integrators
  • Expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance considerations, and business continuity planning
  • Experience with portfolio and program management tools (Jira Align, ADO, Planview, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or similar)
  • Strong executive communication skills and ability to influence at the VP/C-suite level
  • High stakeholder confidence and strong executive transparency
  • Provide thought leadership within technical program management and Agile practices
  • Work under limited supervision with high level of autonomy
  • Navigate ambiguity in complex projects to drive alignment across stakeholders
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, ITIL, TOGAF, or cloud certifications preferred.
