$120,000 - $130,000, up to 10% discretionary incentive target*THE OPPORTUNITYThe Senior Technical Product Manager will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into a strategic product roadmap, maximizing value creation for the analytics team. This collaborative role will oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle and act as the primary liaison between technology and functional groups. The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional alignment, prioritize initiatives based on business impact, and ensure timely delivery of scalable, data-driven solutions. They will champion product vision, manage stakeholder expectations, and apply deep technical acumen to guide engineering teams through complex problem-solving and iterative development.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Own initiative and product roadmaps for the analytics function. Manage intake refinement and prioritization.
- Act as a translator between technical and business teams. Ensure clarity in functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with data and technology groups and facilitate solution design, effort estimation, technical constraints, and scope decisions.
- Ensure analytics and data products meet enterprise & quality standards.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for the analytics portfolio.
- Champion Agile methodologies, leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives and cross-functional ceremonies.
- Produce operational and product metrics to inform business reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
- Drive product adoption through change management and community engagement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.
- 5-7 years experience in technical product management, leading cross-functional product teams / pods in an Agile environment. Shipping data & analytics products preferred.
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) & storytelling, data architecture & engineering, data governance & management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- Product Management certification or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- MS Power BI certification (e.g. PL-300)
*The base salary range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout Canada. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location. The base salary range does not include any bonuses or benefits.
