Keeper Security is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to help shape the strategy, roadmap and growth of Keeper's Privileged Access Management platform. This is a 100% remote position, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL or El Dorado Hills, CA metro areas.

About the Job

As a Senior Technical Product Manager for KeeperPAM, you will help shape product strategy and roadmap direction across the broader Privileged Access Management portfolio rather than owning a single product area. You will work across capabilities including secrets management, secure remote access, endpoint privilege management, discovery, machine identity and related infrastructure security workflows. The role requires someone who can connect customer needs, market trends and technical opportunities across the PAM ecosystem and help determine where Keeper should invest next. You will partner closely with Engineering, Security, Solutions, Sales and customers to define product priorities, evaluate new opportunities and translate complex technical requirements into clear product direction. This is a highly technical product role for someone who understands the broader PAM market and can move comfortably across multiple products, technologies and use cases.

Responsibilities
  • Shape product strategy and roadmap priorities across the broader KeeperPAM portfolio
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities that span multiple PAM capabilities, including secrets management, secure remote access, endpoint privilege management, discovery and machine identity
  • Develop a deep understanding of privileged access workflows across IT, Security, DevOps, infrastructure and enterprise customers
  • Evaluate customer needs, market trends, competitive developments and emerging technologies across the PAM ecosystem
  • Define and prioritize cross-product requirements and initiatives that strengthen KeeperPAM as a cohesive platform
  • Translate complex customer and technical needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and product priorities
  • Partner closely with Engineering on APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, authentication flows, connection protocols, integrations and platform architecture
  • Work directly with customers, Solutions Engineering, Sales and Support to understand pain points, validate product direction and identify new opportunities
  • Shape developer and administrator experiences across configuration, automation, integrations, access workflows and self-service capabilities
  • Evaluate competitors and adjacent markets across PAM, secrets management, machine identity, secure remote access and zero-trust infrastructure access
  • Define and track product success metrics, including adoption, usage, customer impact, retention and revenue contribution
  • Partner with Technical Program Management and Engineering teams to ensure strategic priorities are clearly understood and translated into executable initiatives
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Solutions and Documentation to support successful launches and go-to-market execution
  • Use AI-enabled tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or similar platforms to improve product research, technical analysis, requirements development, competitive intelligence and documentation

Requirements
  • 5+ years of product management experience with technical, infrastructure-focused or cybersecurity products
  • Direct experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Secure Remote Access, DevOps security or a closely related cybersecurity market"
  • Strong understanding of privileged access concepts including least privilege, credential management, Privilege and secrets lifecycle, privileged sessions, policy enforcement and just-in-time access
  • Strong technical fluency with APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, authentication and authorization patterns, and enterprise integrations
  • Familiarity with secrets management workflows including storage, access, rotation, injection, auditing and revocation
  • Familiarity with secure remote access and privileged session concepts, including SSH, RDP or related enterprise connectivity technologies
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes and modern DevOps environments
  • Ability to read technical documentation, understand implementation details and work effectively with engineers on architecture, requirements and technical tradeoffs
  • Experience defining and delivering complex, integration-heavy or developer-focused product capabilities
  • Strong customer discovery, market analysis and product prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for engineering, customer and executive audiences
  • Experience in Agile environments with demonstrated ability to define leading/lagging KPIs and use metrics to drive prioritization and execution
  • Ability and willingness to use AI-enabled tools effectively for research, technical analysis, prioritization, documentation and workflow efficiency
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Product management experience with a commercial PAM, secrets management, secure remote access or identity security platform
  • Familiarity with products such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, HashiCorp Vault, Teleport, StrongDM, Akeyless or similar technologies
  • Experience with machine identity, workload identity or non-human identity security
  • Experience with endpoint privilege management or privileged account discovery
  • Experience supporting developer and DevOps workflows involving Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Kubernetes or similar platforms
  • Experience with privileged session management, credential-free access or remote access gateways
  • Hands-on experience writing code, scripts or technical prototypes
  • Experience with cloud-native and multi-cloud environments
  • Familiarity with zero-trust and just-in-time access architectures
  • Experience launching and growing enterprise cybersecurity or developer platform products
