  • Manage U.S. multi-state sales and use tax compliance for SaaS products.
  • Assist in M&A due diligence, deal structuring, and tax integration.
  • Support tax audits and respond to notices.

Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst with a strong background in technology or SaaS company taxation. This role will own significant parts of end-to-end tax compliance across the U.S. federal, state, local, support the global tax provision, and assist on the unique tax considerations that arise in a cybersecurity business - including software revenue recognition (ASC 606), recurring subscription revenue models, R&D credits, and IP structuring. You will partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, IT and Legal and directly report to tax Manager. What Will You Do? Primary responsibilities include: • Assist in calculating and maintaining the global quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740, including uncertain tax positions. • Prepare and review the U.S. federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns and estimated tax payments in collaboration with the external tax service providers. • Support the international tax compliance including transfer pricing documentation, Pillar 2, GILTI, FDII, and BEAT analysis for global operations. • Maintain and reconcile consolidated deferred tax assets/liabilities and tax-related balance sheet accounts. • Manage the U.S. multi-state sales and use tax compliance for SaaS and software products (including economic nexus analysis). • Support M&A due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition tax integration. • Partner with Legal on maintaining inter-company arrangements. • Support tax audits; respond to notices and monitor resolution processes. • Assist in the U.S. federal and California R&D tax credit study. • Contribute and support process improvements and evaluate tax technology tools to increase compliance efficiency. What skills and experience should you bring? Ideal candidates will have: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Active or pursuing CPA license, master's degree in taxation (MST) or MBA is a plus. • 3-4+ years of tax experience from Big 4 or large regional firm experience serving technology clients public accounting or from a technology / SaaS company. • Strong command of the U.S. federal and multi-state corporate income tax compliance. • Hands-on experience with ASC 740 tax provision. • International tax experience including transfer pricing, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Pillar 2. • Experience with IP/intangible asset structuring in a tech environment. • Prior involvement in M&A tax diligence or integration is a plus, but not required. • Familiarity with the U.S. sales and use taxes nexus and compliance and cross-border SaaS taxation. • Familiarity with R&D tax credits and Section 174 capitalization rules. • Advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar); Experience with Avalara, or similar sales tax automation tools. • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing multiple deadlines. • Strong analytical and research skills; ability to interpret ambiguous regulatory guidance. • Clear communicator and Collaborative team player; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proactive approach to staying current on tax law changes impacting the technology sector and AI automation. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with frequent organizational changes.
