Full Job Description
As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will work as a member of the Tax Advisory Services team and will be responsible for various assigned projects that assist with the completion of the engagement, including both preparation and review of corporate, individual and partnership tax returns, as well as tax compliance, research, transaction analysis and planning. This hands-on environment provides experience with a variety of services, clients and industries such as manufacturing and distribution, construction, transportation and logistics, automotive, nonprofits, and energy and resources.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Act as a trusted member of the engagement team and provide various tax compliance and advisory services
- Prepare and review various returns for engagements for a variety of clients across multiple industries from middle market to multinational companies
- Stay up-to-date on new standards and laws, participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries
- Proactively communicate with engagement team and client on complicated tax matters and specialty tax practices
- Focus of professional development via coaching and mentoring tailored to each individual, as well as learning and growing from direct on the job coaching and mentoring
- Utilize your entrepreneurial spirit at a firm that values new ideas and innovation, allowing you to learn and grow quickly, as well as build strong internally and externally
- Support the growth and development of team members through coaching and mentoring
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of three years of public accounting experience
- CPA license eligibility
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and Power Point
