Full Job Description
Build your tax career while making an impact across a growing, collaborative team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will support domestic tax compliance, quarterly and year-end tax provision work, financial statement reporting, and tax-related projects across the business. You will also help improve processes through technology, automation, and more efficient ways of working. We are seeking someone with strong accounting and tax technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

What you will be doing:
  • Assist with the preparation of quarter-end and year-end income tax provisions, including supporting financial statement tax reporting.
  • Prepare consolidated federal and separate or combined state income and franchise tax returns for Epicor US businesses, including estimated payments and extensions.
  • Work with external service providers supporting federal and state research and development tax credits.
  • Support domestic income tax audits and respond to tax authority requests as needed.
  • Support merger and acquisition activity, including tax-related integration work.
  • Contribute to tax planning initiatives that impact tax provision and compliance activities.
  • Recommend process improvements and strategies that support tax efficiency, including opportunities to use technology and automation.

What you will likely bring:
  • 2+ years applicable tax or accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • CPA or active pursuit of a CPA.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, tax technical, Excel, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

What could set you apart:
  • Experience with income tax provision or financial statement tax reporting, including ASC 740 and/or FIN 48.
  • Experience with OneSource Income Tax/Tax Compliance and/or Oracle TRCS, along with an interest in automation, AI, or other process-efficiency tools.


This role is based in Austin, Texas, and follows a hybrid work arrangement with three days per week in the office.
