Full Job Description
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is a strategic role focused on attracting, sourcing, and securing the talent that powers CPI's most important asset - our team members.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with CPI, you will play a critical role in driving full-cycle recruiting operations and ensuring alignment with program requirements, business growth, and the unique compliance demands of government contracting environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical, cleared, and professional positions across CPI's federal R&D programs and business development pipeline.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage cleared and clearance-eligible talent through ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, referral programs, and career fairs.
  • Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to define hiring needs, advise on market conditions, and drive evidence-based hiring decisions.
  • Support capture and proposal efforts through labor market intelligence, key personnel identification, and staffing plan development.
  • Ensure recruiting compliance with OFCCP, EEO, FAR/DFARS, and internal HR policies; maintain audit-ready ATS records.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and diversity outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the FSO and HR team on clearance-related hiring considerations and pre-offer eligibility screening.
  • Represent CPI at cleared career fairs and industry events as assigned.

Qualifications/Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in federal government contracting environments.
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting for SECRET or Top Secret cleared positions with demonstrated knowledge of clearance processes and DISS.
  • Proven success sourcing and closing passive candidates for technical and mission-critical roles.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and GovCon recruiting tools (ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of OFCCP compliance, EEO requirements, and federal contractor employment obligations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • AIRS recruiting certification (CIR, PRC, CDR, or CSSR) preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
