Full Job Description
The Role:

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will be a trusted partner to leaders across the organization, providing strategic and hands-on recruiting support for positions ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership.

You will own the full lifecycle recruiting process - from developing a thoughtful search strategy and identifying talent through assessment, selection, and offer acceptance. You will build strong partnerships with hiring leaders and use your knowledge of the talent market, data, and insights to influence hiring strategies and decisions.

The ideal candidate is an experienced recruiter who is comfortable navigating complex and specialized searches, engaging passive talent, and advising leaders at all levels. Experience recruiting within specialty insurance or the broader insurance industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting across a diverse portfolio of positions, including professional, technical, and leadership roles.
  • Lead effective intake and strategy discussions with hiring managers, establishing clear expectations around candidate profiles, market conditions, interview processes, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Use recruiting data, talent market intelligence, and business insights to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and recommend changes to recruiting strategies.
  • Translate data into clear, compelling stories and recommendations that help hiring managers make informed talent decisions and appropriately adjust expectations when necessary.
  • Assess candidates against the capabilities, experiences, behaviors, and performance outcomes required for success in the role.
  • Deliver a high-touch, professional candidate experience throughout the recruiting process while representing TMHCC and its employee value proposition in the marketplace.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines and external networks that support both immediate and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Manage offer development and negotiation in partnership with hiring managers, HR, and compensation partners.
  • Ensure recruiting practices and processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage required pre-employment activities, including reference checks and pre-employment screening.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within Talent Acquisition by sharing market insights, identifying opportunities to improve processes, and supporting broader recruiting initiatives.

Minimum Knowledge, Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (or related field) is preferred, or equivalent recruiting experience.
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Specialty Insurance recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Experience sourcing roles across multiple organizational levels, including senior-level and leadership positions.
  • Strong ability to interview and assess candidate skills based on performance driven behaviors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Superior organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Strong learning culture with ongoing development opportunities
  • Opportunities for growth and career advancement
  • Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, with eligibility beginning on your first day of employment
  • Basic life and disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan with 6% company match
  • 20 days of PTO, two floating holidays, approximately 11 paid holidays, and volunteer time off
  • Paid parental leave
  • Access to our award-winning wellness program, including mental health services, fitness network membership, and a complimentary Headspace subscription
  • Student loan matching program
