Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is currently seeking aSenior Systems Verification Engineer to join our team located in the United States. This position is based in Santa Clara, CA.

JOB SUMMARY/ DESCRIPTION

  • Lead verification strategy and execution for system verification

  • Work closely with system engineering and quality engineering ensuring requirement testability

  • Develop test methods that meet complex requirement intent. This will include protocol development, fixture development, fixture qualification, test script development, test script validation, test method validation, analysis of data, and report/test summary generation

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Written verification plans/protocols and executed formal testing in a regulated industry, medical device experience preferred

  • Prior experience writing verification plans/protocols and executing formal testing in a regulated industry

  • Prior experience in electro-mechanical fixture development and qualification

  • Understanding the design controls process and successful completion of the product development life cycle of complex capital equipment or reusable devices

  • Ability to develop testing/analysis software scripts in Python, MATLAB or other scripting languages

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. Engineering or other applicable technical degree +5 years experience or M.S./PhD in Engineering or other applicable technical degree +3 years experience

  • Strong testing knowledge for Electromechanical Systems.

  • Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, force gauges etc.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux platform and python language.

  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis for sample size determination and performance testing.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical tools like oscilloscope, function generator etc.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%, international and domestic, is required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $125,000 - $201,250 Bay Area Only.
