About the Role:We are seeking a Senior System Test Engineer to design and implement robust manufacturing test solutions for our hardware products. This role sits at the intersection of systems, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering-owning how our product is tested at scale. You'll translate product requirements into effective test strategies and build the fixtures, software, and processes needed to ensure every unit meets performance and quality standards.
What You'll Do:- Define and design end-of-line and in-process manufacturing test systems to validate core product functionality
- Translate system and product requirements into comprehensive test plans, specifications, and coverage
- Design and develop test fixtures and hardware, including PCB-level interfaces and basic mechanical structures (how devices are held, connected, and tested)
- Develop test software using tools like LabVIEW or Python to automate test execution and data collection
- Collaborate with EE, ME, firmware, and systems teams to ensure testability is built into the product design
- Lead bring-up, validation, and optimization of manufacturing test systems
- Analyze test data, debug failures, and drive root cause investigations
- Support scaling from prototype builds to production, improving test efficiency, reliability, and throughput
- Work with contract manufacturers and vendors to deploy and maintain test systems
What We're Looking For:- 7-10+ years of experience in system test, manufacturing test, or related roles
- Strong ability to translate requirements into test strategies and system design (not just execute tests)
- Experience designing test fixtures, including some combination of electrical (PCB/interface design) and mechanical elements
- Proficiency in test automation using Python, LabVIEW, or similar tools
- Hands-on experience testing hardware in a manufacturing or production environment
- Systems mindset-able to think holistically about product functionality and test coverage
- Comfortable owning both test architecture and implementation
- Good balance between having a sense of urgency and optimizing systems
- Comfortable with version control systems, good programming practices to encourage collaboration between internal and external teams
- Excellent communication skills to ensure all stakeholders are proactively involved
Nice to Have:- Experience in medical devices or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and contract manufacturers
- Experience with data analysis, test databases, or production metrics
- Background in DFT (Design for Test) or NPI (New Product Introduction)
What We Offer- An opportunity to work on exciting, cutting-edge projects to transform patients' lives in a highly collaborative work environment.
- Competitive compensation, including stock options.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- 401(k) program with matching contributions.
