Job Summary
ATG is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The selected candidate will engineer, implement, and maintain secure information systems supporting Department of the Navy missions. This position provides senior cybersecurity engineering support throughout the system lifecycle, ensuring compliance with RMF, DoD cybersecurity policies, and security engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure system architectures for DoD information systems.
  • Support RMF lifecycle activities including ATO packages, eMASS, POA&Ms, STIG implementation, and continuous monitoring.
  • Perform security engineering, risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.
  • Coordinate with ISSOs, ISSMs, engineers, and Government stakeholders.
  • Support cybersecurity testing, audits, and compliance reporting.
  • Develop security documentation and technical recommendations.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of professional systems engineering experience, including cybersecurity or systems security engineering.
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 5 investigation.
  • Experience with RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs, ACAS, and eMASS.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
Desired:
  • CISSP or CASP+ certification.
  • Experience supporting NAVSEA or Department of the Navy.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
