Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in power electronics, power system design, or hardware/electrical engineering within the consumer electronics industry, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience in DC/DC system design and validation
Preferred qualifications:- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Responsibilities - Own electrical development of complex power subsystems or moderately complex power systems, under guidance from technical leads or managers.
- Lead schematic design, board layout, and cross-functional design reviews, while driving system power design, power component design, system review and optimization.
- Simulate and design complex power circuits like battery charger, fuel gauge, wireless charging, power management integrated circuit (PMIC), etc. Select critical power components to optimize power system electric performance, space, thermals, and design trade-offs.
- Engage cross-functionally with teams such as Software (SW) to ensure successful power system design, integration, and complete validation.
- Support system hardware bring-up (focus on power charging), debugging, and support for manufacturing, assembly, or deployment.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
