Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) NGI Project Office (GMX) in Huntsville, Alabama.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead systems engineering and integration efforts through expertise in hardware and laboratory integration, HWIL support, MBSE, cybersecurity, risk management, and test and assessment
  • Work across complex hardware, software, cybersecurity, modeling, integration, and test environments
  • Interface directly with the prime contractor and other key stakeholders to coordinate technical requirements, integration activities, priorities, and deliverables
  • Serve as a technical bridge between engineering teams, program leadership, laboratory personnel, and external customers, ensuring that system-level objectives are clearly understood and successfully executed
  • Support cybersecurity tasking, working with engineering and security teams to address cyber requirements, vulnerabilities, risk mitigation, and assessment activities
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices to improve requirements traceability, architecture definition, interface management, and communication across engineering disciplines
  • Identify integration concerns early and maintain alignment between requirements, design, implementation, and verification
  • Identify and mitigate component- and subsystem-level technical and integration risks affecting overall system performance


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical/scientific discipline specifically related to area of specialty and 10+ years of related professional experience
  • Advanced degree may be preferred at this level
  • Ability to provide Systems Engineering evaluation and assessments to include recommendations
  • Experience leading a collaborative team to deliver rigorously planned, coordinated, and synchronized results
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • MS Degree in STEM (Computer Science or Engineering) and 12+ years of related experience in Systems Engineering and Integration
  • Ability to support HWIL environments and integrate laboratory hardware into system-level test architectures
  • Experience in MDA polices and processes
  • Understanding of Missile Defense Systems
  • Ability to develop documents for Program Reviews and Engineering Review Boards (ERB)


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
