Senior System Engineer - J8 On-site

Position Overview The Senior Systems Engineer will primarily support the Capabilities Assessment Branch and be responsible for performing system engineering in the IAMD domain in coordination with architecture analysis efforts. This position will be responsible for modeling and simulation of operational concepts and associated data analysis, oversight and development of integrated simulation tools to conduct wargaming to support IAMD analysis within Nimble Fire and JRICM applications, and identification of IAMD objectives, methodologies, MOEs and MOPs, and algorithm development using tools such as EADSIM and WILMA.
Essential Job Function - Perform system engineering in the IAMD domain in coordination with architecture analysis efforts
- Model and simulate operational concepts and perform associated data analysis
- Provide oversight and development of integrated simulation tools for wargaming to support IAMD analysis within Nimble Fire and JRICM
- Identify IAMD objectives, methodologies, MOEs and MOPs, and develop algorithms using tools such as EADSIM and WILMA
- Assist the Government in the planning, management, and execution of Nimble Fire live, virtual, and constructed simulation exercises
- Assist the Government in the planning, management, and execution of JRICM studies
- Assist in the development of threat models for use in Nimble Fire and JRICM simulations based on intelligence community projections
- Support Nimble Fire Multi-Domain Improvements (MDI)
Minimum Qualifications - Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
- Master's degree
- At least fifteen (15) years of professional experience within IAMD or a related area
- Minimum of five (5) years supporting the Joint Staff, OSD, Service HQ, or CCMD HQ
Desired Qualifications - Experience with EADSIM, WILMA, or similar modeling and simulation tools
- Experience with Nimble Fire or JRICM exercises
- Familiarity with operator-in-the-loop simulation exercises
