Leads the engineering, optimization, and resiliency of core datacenter and cloud platforms supporting global operations. This role provides advanced technicalexpertise, drives standards and automation, and serves as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, performance, and recovery challenges.
Design, implement, and support robust infrastructure solutions across server, virtualization, storage, backup, file services, and cloud platforms.
Lead complex troubleshooting and serve as a senior escalation point for major incidents, performance issues, and recurring platform instability.
Drive automation, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code practices to improve consistency, speed, and reliability.
Lead lifecycle planning, capacity management, and technical refresh activities for infrastructure platforms.
Develop and enforce engineering standards for compliance, patching, resiliency, observability, and operational readiness.
Support containerization and orchestration platforms where applicable, including standards, operations, and integration.
Partner with database, application, security, and network teams to optimize platform performance and ensure recoverability.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and operational maturity.
Platform availability, stability, and reduction in severity 1 and 2 incidents.
Delivery of lifecycle, capacity, and resiliency initiatives on time and within scope.
Improvement in automation coverage and reduction in manual operational effort.
Disaster recovery test success and recovery time achievement for supported platforms.
Compliance posture for patching, standards, and audit remediation items.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Advanced technical certification(s) preferred in cloud, virtualization, automation, storage, or operating systems.
ITIL or similar operational governance knowledge preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
5–8 years of progressive infrastructure engineering experience.
Deep experience in hybrid infrastructure, including datacenter and cloud operations.
Strong experience with automation, scripting, and/or IaC tools such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Experience leading technical implementation efforts or platform upgrades.
Experience with disaster recovery, backup strategy, and capacity/performance management.
Exposure to enterprise compliance, audit support, and infrastructure standards governance.
Supports highly critical enterprise services with broad business and operational impact.
Regularly handles complex technical decisions with limited oversight.
No direct people management required, but often leads technical work across teams.
Serves as a mentor and senior escalation resource within the engineering team.
Supports global environments and participates in major initiatives affecting multiple regions or business units.
Influences medium-scale project spend, refresh planning, and technical roadmaps.
