The Opportunity: - Serve as a senior technical authority for an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
- Own architecture across a multi-team Agile Release Train, from strategy through implementation.
- Partner with Government chief engineers and mission owners to drive long-range technical roadmaps.
- Lead the architectural decisions that determine how mission-critical systems scale, integrate, and evolve.
This position is contingent upon contract award.Responsibilities: - Lead system architecture definition and governance across multiple Agile delivery teams.
- Develop and maintain the program technical roadmap, architectural runway, and enabler backlog.
- Chair design reviews and architecture boards; adjudicate cross-team technical decisions.
- Direct analyses of alternatives and technology insertion assessments based on cost, risk, and mission impact.
- Align program architecture with Government enterprise standards, security requirements, and interoperability mandates.
- Partner with Product Management and the RTE during PI Planning to sequence architectural work.
- Mentor architects and technical leads; raise engineering standards across the program.
Qualifications: Required:
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted).
- 8+ years of systems or software engineering experience, with significant architecture leadership.
- Demonstrated experience architecting large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.
- Experience leading architecture across multiple development teams in an Agile or SAFe environment.
- Strong command of integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture.
- Excellent communication skills with senior Government and technical stakeholders.
Desired:
- Experience with GEOINT systems or geospatial data architectures.
- SAFe for Architects (ARCH) certification.
- Prior experience supporting NGA or the Intelligence Community.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$98,500-$206,800
