Overview

The Senior Substation Project Manager will oversee and lead electric substation, transmission and distribution infrastructure projects to ensure sure the safety and reliability of power delivery. This role involves developing strategic plans, managing budgets, and overseeing both internal and external resources. The Senior Substation Project Manager also handles risk management, project scope changes, andmaintains effective communication with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. This work is critical in protecting customers by enhancing the safety of electric utility systems and maintaining reliable power delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall project oversight for electric transmission, distribution and substation infrastructure projects.
  • Lead coordination and performance monitoring across project teams.
  • Manage project plans, program budgets, schedule, resource planning, and portfolio risk mitigation strategies.

  • Track and report on key metrics such as cost, schedule performance, and project readiness.

  • Identify process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and mitigate wildfire risk.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings.

Pay Range: $143,000 - $175,000 per year

Work Location: Remote (California residents only)

Travel: Up to 5-10% travel to project sites within Imperial County, CA

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
