Overview

Cordoba Corporation, a leading civil engineering firm in CA, is hiring aCivil Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers to support the planning and design stages of exciting transportation and civil engineering projects.Youllprepare exhibits for circulation and deliverable packages, taking on a variety of assignments that require a proactive, can-do attitude. Responsibilities
  • Collaborateswith other engineers, drafters, and designers to prepare the required design, specifications, and details for assigned projects
  • Becomesfamiliar with applicable standards and codes for use in completing designs.
  • Performs engineering work in connection with public works projects.
  • Aids in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and costs for the construction of streets, storm drains, parks, signals, buildings, and other capital improvement projects.
  • Aids in the preparation of engineering reports.
  • Coordinates quality review processes.
  • Becomesfamiliar with reading construction plans, maps, and reports.
  • Aids in the preparation of preliminary and final project cost estimates.
  • Assistsin field engineering and inspection as needed.
  • Performsassignments with instructions as to the general results expected.
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelordegree in civil engineering
  • PE License in CApreferred,Engineer-In-Training Certificateforwell qualifiedcandidates will be considered.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience with transportation projects
  • Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
  • Experience with Civil3D (Alignments, profiles, pipe networks, surfaces, cross sections, plan production)
  • Familiar with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment
  • Familiar with SharePoint
  • Experience with Civil design, utility design, track design, and roadway design.

Preferred:

  • MasterDegree in civil engineering(counts as one year of experience)
  • Experience with Vehicle Tracking software in Civil3D
  • Previouswork on LA Metro projects
  • Experience with Maintenance Facility Site design (Civil/Track)
  • Experience collaborating on multi-discipline projects/teams
  • Experience with modeling/analysis of corridors in Civil3D
  • Experience with Advanced Utility Relocation plans

Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 yearly

Location: Los Angeles, CAWork Environment: Hybrid with approx. 2 remote days weekly and 3 on-site days, downtown LA.
