Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with 7+ years of substation project experience, or relevant technology degree with FE certification and similar experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, working effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to apply diverse engineering knowledge to a wide range of assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead substation projects from conceptual design to completion.
• Prepare substation design packages, including physical arrangements and electrical studies.
• Develop complex substation calculations for various engineering aspects.
• Prepare design sketches, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
• Conduct field inspections of substation facilities for compliance and quality assurance.
• Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with internal guidelines.
• Lead proposal development, including scheduling and budgeting estimates.
