Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and maintain data collection and analysis systems to support research protocols, with potential responsibility for coordinating data collection and analysis efforts
  • Coordinate research participants in alignment with study objectives and scope of work
  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities, serving as the primary administrative point of contact for research subjects and Principal Investigators (PIs)
  • Oversee daily activities of technical support staff involved in executing research protocols; may directly perform protocol-related tasks as needed to meet program objectives
  • Supervise and coordinate the delivery of support services to the Principal Investigator
  • Track and monitor research progress, maintaining accurate records and preparing routine and ad hoc reports for investigators, sponsors, and regulatory agencies
  • Implement and uphold quality control processes throughout the lifecycle of the study
  • Contribute as a technical specialist, supporting the completion of routine research-related tasks


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology/Zoology/Animal Science or related field with a minimum of 5 years' preclinical research experience OR
  • 10 years relevant hands-on experience supporting preclinical research (LAR/surgical vet tech or similar roles) in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to work on weekends occasionally.


Knowledge and Skills:
  • Applies technical standards, principles, concepts, and techniques to solve problems
  • Formulates and reports on test methods and outcomes
